The challenge also come from J when i called him on lunch break, few days back. He have this super spicy chicken rica rica. He challenge me whether i can cook his favorite food. And this is the first time i cook this famous spicy Indonesian dish.
Chicken rica rica originally come from Manado, rica rica mean spicy in their language. I gobbled 2 cone ice cream after having dinner. It is just...too spicy. Then if i'm a chili "addict", J is a chili "maniac"

My 1st Success Red Bean Bun
Finally i made it!!!!
This is my 5th or 6th trial bun and the 1st success ever, forget about the rest, it goes to the trash.
I made this buns last evening after work. Took only 20 mins to knead the dough. I've knead one of my trial bun for 3 hours!!! until my hand mixer almost broken and it still ended up in the trash.
And finally i realize that the biggest problem was my FLOUR. I use flour that written to be "BREAD FLOUR"(for making chinese spring onion pancake) in the package, but everytime i knead it, it seems to be very very wet and sticky. And today i use all purpose flour and it turned out just perfectly. Beautiful isn't it?
I'm so happy with my bun, even an argument with J didn't upset me at all :)

Century Egg and Soft Tofu
Ever try century egg? Century egg also known as preserved egg or thousand year egg. It is Chinese cuisine ingredients made from chicken eggs or duck eggs. According to what i read about the eggs, they use mixture of clay, ash, salt and rice husk to preserve it.
Taiwanese serve it with cold soft tofu with spring onion, light mushroom sauce and sesame oil. Century egg also can be added in porridge. I love this porridge, it is amazingly delicious, despite the egg's smells.

Homemade Hawaii Pizza
Went to bed at 00:30 lastnight with $%#@^& shouting (and mumbling) behind my back, remind me if it is weekend. And who care about that? I need rest. Wake up at 15:20 loaded with tons of energy.
Goshh...i sleep for 15 hours!!! Gotta find something to do. Baking? thats good idea.
I'm going to use my energy to knead the bread. Bread or bun? I'm afraid the bun will turn to be rock bun again, so i decide to make my "long forgotten" favorite junkfood.
Yeah...pizza, with a lots of sliced hotdog and cheese.
It's been few days ago, since i saw the recipe in my fav blog, Aunt Yo, and that moment i have no time and energy to do so. And...today is the perfect day.
** My pizza crust is really much much better than pizzah** (or i've forgotten their taste?)

Another Brownies With Cream Cheese
This time, the recipe come from Aunt Yochana.
I've tried few recipe of her and it always turned out to be great especially cake. Except the "easy made" swiss roll and peanut butter bun that turn to be disaster in my hand, i've tried the swiss roll for 5 times and it still ended up to be scrambled cake, while the bun turn out to be "rock" bun. I'm a learner who not afraid of fail :) Gotta try again other time.
