Kimchi Fried Rice

I love the sour and spicy flavor of this Korean preserved vegetable.
For me, it best goes with beef, like stir fried kimchi with beef, kimchi beef hotpot, or kimchi fried rice. And this is my own version of kimchi fried rice.


1 bowl cooked rice
1/2 bowl sliced beef
3 tbsp chopped kimchi
1 egg, scrambled
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp minced onion
1 tsp corn starch
1 stalk spring onion, sliced
mixed vegetable (corn, carrot, snow peas)

- Marinate beef with sesame oil and cornstarch for 15 mins, stir fried quickly. Set aside
Saute minced onion, add mixed vegetable and kimchi stir for few minutes, add rice and scramble egg.
Last, add beef and sprinkle with spring onion.
